My cue collection has been stolen high reward

Allot of swag winds up down here from up north. I put the work on the street i am always looking for big cal stuff. All the local scum know i carry a Model 29 .44Mag. Also put the word out i was looking for a Tec 9.
I only have one left from the old days. If i had an exrta i would give it to you.

I thought i may have gotten lucky today. A guy i had never seen before
came in the pool room at the senoir center at lunch time today. He had
3 pool cue cases with him he wanted to sell some cues. I was thinking please let this be some of your cues. It was just a Action and some Vipers. The old guys know him, he comes in every now & then. I told him if he gets a line on any high end or Palmers i would pay cash.

I will make another pass thru the pawn shops this weekend.

Sorry for your loss.

Thanks for asking. I have had a few leads but all phone calls have not lead to any of my cues. Some have possibly been spotted as far away as Alaska!!!!. Thank you everyone for being dilligent in keeping an eye out for my collection. and let this serve as a lesson to all of us. Never become lax in protecting your valuables.

Thank you,
Huck

It would be a lot easier to keep an eye out for them if we had a few pics of the cues.

Huck ..man my heart goes out to you..I know how you feel. I own a jeep Grand Cherokee..and some one attempted to steal it for the second time last Tue. The first time the motherless bastards stole it they ruined the transmission, busted the back glass, and screwed up my wireharness..well 1400.00 bucks later and hours fighting thru the massive wire harness and i had it back to running perfect. I installed a Kill switch hidden in the jeep. I normally take my face to my cd player out every ight but the one time i didnt. and Wham...They break in ..steal my new 300 dollar cd/mp3 player..destroy my dash snatching out the deck..pop my ignition switch and try to steal it..thank god i activated the kill switch or they would have taken off with my jeep for a second time..and here is the scary part..i had just purchased 3 brand new AC for a friend of mine..and my cue case was laying in my back seat. 145.00 dollor tool set..a battery jump box ...did i mention my case..oh my god i was so scared when my wife woke me up and said some one broke in the jeep. I want to set a bobby trap so bad in my jeep ..but i am an ex-deputy from Troy, Ohio and i know that would be pre-meditated and would get me in a ass of trouble..but i will fix the jeep and try and catch them stealing it. And to make it worse i put personlized tags on it hoping that would make them not steal it ..my licence plate says "RACMSKR" ..go figure..who ever they are i hope they get Syphilis and die.

wow my heart goes out to you, especially the senimental stuff, the 454 casull-i have one is easilly replaced and used on the bastard that did this,

if you have pics of the cues, post them, because eventually they will make into the cue market-they might get pawned for nothing but at some point someone who knows them will buy them and possibley try to re-sell them. this way it could help us/you/me/everyone here identify them and pinch the bastard.

good luck but give us pics of the cues so we can identify them, and sort things out for you. if any szams or your other cues pop up on ebay someone here will help you. i cant think of a downside to my idea,

again sorry

I am new to these boards, but I am from a part of the country no one has touched on yet...

Post some pictures and I can help keep an ear out for you here in Memphis. I don't know many pool hall owners, but I know many of the people that would be interested in those firearms... and even catching them might lead to something. So post some pictures if you have them, or at least the serial numbers from the firearms.

And if you post pictures of the cues/guns, I would happily print and distribute them across my town to all the pool halls/pawn shops I know of.

Ant

Sorry your collection got robbed...

Man oh man!!!! Boy was I sorry to hear about this, it reminds me of the cue I had stolen off of a UPS truck back in 1989. It was a one of a kind, custom Schon I had made for me by Bob Runde, when he was still with Schon cues. I heard about it a few years later, somebody heard me describe the cue and said a collector they knew from Arizona talked about a cue like the one I lost.
Wish this board was available to me back then, maybe I would have had a chance at getting it back.
I still miss that cue and would like to POUND THE CRETIN WHO STOLE IT!!!!

Why no pics?

This whole thing is sickening. The loss of these items is like someone ripping your stomach out. My only question here is that there are many people here from all over the country wanting to help. They could canvass most of the US with this info. Why no pictures? It has been over 30 days gone by and no pics.  God, I hope you recover all your items and memories. Best of luck.

Sorry about this post, I didn't look at the year? I guess I gaot cuaght up in the emotions of it!! Sorry again.

This thread was over a year old until someone made a post yesterday. Maybe some of you didn't notice this?

Stolen cues

I can't imagine how you must feel about losing your cue collection. I don't know if you had insurance on your cues, but insurance companies don't understand how valuable some of the cues you had are. I wish you the best of luck and maybe you'll get lucky and get the cues back.
