My fellow UK, London AZBers (help find a cue)

smoochie

NotLikeThis
I came to the UK, London a few months ago and stayed there for months. During that time I had to change apartments a couple of times one of which I lost my cue and case during the move.

Please if you see or find this cue anywhere in any pool hall help me contact the guy who is using it. It’s my favorite cue in the world.

I couldn’t find better pictures these are all that I could find on my phone

## Info about the cue

A) MG ( stands for Mikey Gullyassy the maker of the cue):
B) it has an extension in the middle and the shaft is revo.
C) the butt forearm is painted blue and the grip is linen wrap.

If you see it please tell the user of it that I have lost it in a taxi and to contact me here via PM.

I would try posting on the pro9 site (UK focused 9-Ball site) as well as the GB9 & UK 9-Ball Tour (run by Premier Pool Promotions I think) Facebook groups.

That will get you exposure to the virtually all serious players around the country who might be more likely to come into contact with your cue.

Best of luck and hopefully you get it back.

I will bet you, this ends up on ebay at some point. Its a waiting game,But someone might know on pro 9.

I keep searching for it on ebay, if I see it i will buy it again.....thing is I bet in UK they wouldn't know the maker of this cue, it has "MG" and I dont think they know who Mike Gullyassy is and how beautiful his cues are so I wonder how much on ebay he will list it. Regardless i will snag it again........

Maybe one of you guys see it on EBAY please also notify me, thanks.

There's also a good chance the seller doesn't know anything about pool and he lists it for $40 dollars, then its gone forever cause I wouldn't have enough time to snag it.

I will keep an eye out for it. Its certainly a unique design. And your right, there ain't going to be many, who would know the maker. Or what the logo stands for.
Being left in a taxi it could be anywhere, i hope it turns up.

Try those, the UK 9-Ball community are likely to help if they can as I’ve seen similar posts before, it’s possible someone may see it or be offered it…although of course equally it sadly may have gone.

Best of luck, hopefully someone is able to help.

What a weird looking cue. Are you sure Gulyassy made it? He paints his forearms?
Yes I requested it to be that way

I have three of those two painted and one natural red looking forearm

The two painted are
Blue (lost in London and my favorite)
White (I still have it, will post a pic later if interested)

It might help a bit if you mention the locations where it went missing. London is a big place.
Oh it was a drive using a taxi moving lots of luggage and stuff from Oxford street to somewhere near paddington. The whole trip did not take more than 10mins but while emptying the stuff and luggage from the taxi I guess I forgot the case inside

It was using an app called Bolt. At the time I kept contact with the company but they didn’t seem to help nor care. They didn’t even connect me with the driver to speak to him personally. That’s how bad my experience with Bolt was.

Got about as much chance as Oregon voting Repub. in the next 1000yrs. ;)
Things change -- remember the Party of Lincoln? That was only a couple hundred years ago.

The cue was misplaced two years ago. It doesn't look like a fancy or expensive cue, so people are unlikely to remark on it. I don't like the OP's chances. If he really wants it back, one way is to contact rooms in London, give them pictures to post, and offer 200 pounds (plus shipping) for return of the cue, no questions asked.

Posting here is almost useless.

It's a long shot, but you might want to email pool halls like the Hurricane Room in St. Pancras and other branches like Acton. Just to spread the word that you're looking for the cue.
