My first cork wrap

Ok so I have installed a few leather wraps and thought I would try out a cork wrap and see how I like it. I installed this on one of my LP Custom Cues. I just love the way it turned out. It feels great in the hand but have not shot with the cue yet since I installed it so I can't really say how I like the playability of a cork wrap. I know this wouldn't be Lee's first color choice of wrap for this cue but I hope I did him proud. He makes one hell of a cue. This particular cue has a radial pin and old micarta joint and hits like a ton of bricks. Can't wait to take it back out.

Very nice job for first timer.

Thanks James. The more I look at it the more I like it. I was surprised at what a pleasure the cork was to work with. Be sure and show me some pics of that sweet new case you got :)

Ok played with the cue. I must say a cork wrap feels real nice. I can see how a cork wrap on a break cue would be real nice.
