Not for nuthin'....but I believe that this is the first cue I've owned that had a "first element" usage included. The first cue from Kenny using copper inlays....WAY cool in my book.
Thanks for all the nice comments, ya'll. My part was easy - Pick out the forearm I liked and send some dough to Kenny to make magic happen.
Took delivery of this cue today, and it's 10x more gorgeous in person. The copper is very subtle, until it hits direct light and throws some reflection back at ya. VERY cool design feature...and the cue is dead-nutz perfect in every fathomable way.
Piloted steel joint with Juma sleeve, 19.3oz in weight, and exceptional balance.
On a scale of 1-10 -------> Kenny's work is a 27.
Thanks to Scott and Chris, both, for "talking me into" taking the plunge for inlay work on this one. You guys steered me right.
Kenny was also kind enough to triple-check the USPS box he shipped it in. No gremlins in there.
Didn't get a chance to hit balls with it while I was home. Too busy building furniture and rebuilding my deck...but I MAY have pulled it out of the case to stare at it 10-15 times. :grin:
Kenny's work it top-notch in all respects.
If you EVER have the chance to snag one of his cues, I highly suggest you do. You won't be disappointed.
Congrats Mark on a beautiful cue ... Everything about this cue is classy. The size and amount of inlays really brings this cue together, and the j/p's are bonkers too... Another beauty with flair from Mr. Murrell!
