My first custom cue

This is my first fully custom cue ive built from scratch. 3/8 -11 pin .840 at the joint 1.245 at the butt .19.1 oz , balance is 18.125 from butt . rings (5) are 16 dots of abalone and silver . points are 11 inchs long of.020 silver (4) with abalone and silver dots also 4 more that are 9 inchs the same way . the butt is barbells made the same way there 3.5 inchs on the long ones and 2.0 for the short ones .the wood is sapalle and the handle is purple heart with a lizard wrap my first one of those also .let me know what you think. pics in next post Thanks RED

Nice job, congratulations! Do you have a pic of the whole cue though? It always irritates me to see only part of a cue at a time, I have no imagination!;-)
 
Very nice, good luck with your new cue.

And remember, it's not "your" cue until you personalize it with a custom ding somewhere on the butt or the crown.

Painful as it sounds, that's just how it is IMO. :p
 
It looks like you are on your way and it's not bad for your first cue......

Very nice simple looking cue. The wood looks really good. The inlay work incorpoarted old school concepts. What's the pin material? How does it hit?

this was my first wrap also and i luv it lets you know where your hand is but gives you a good grip.
