My first offering - cue for a friend

I have been building cues for a while now. I figured it was time to to put one up. Here is a cue that I built for a friend here on AZ. It started out as a 1940 "baseball bat cue", meaning the old cues with the extremely fat butt end. Cuemakers like them because there is plenty of meat left on them to cut to our desired size. Another good thing is that they are old and seasoned - so they don't move much after cutting. This 75 year old purpleheart and maple coupled with an ivory ferrule sure does hit good! Shaft is a full 13mm and the same wood. I hope my friend likes it.
