Cue history. This is the sister cue to Pete Jr's cue. His has Tulip Wood instead of Sheoak, other than that they are identical. This cue was originally made for one of Pete Jr's close friends. I love the hit of the ivory over stainless compression joint. I cant get over how well this cue plays and how perfect the work is. I am a believer.

Very nice

That's a beauty. I agree with you, I really have gotten to like the Ivory over stainless joint, hit and feel. Plus it looks awesome :)
 
i was under the impression that the tascarella ivory jointed cues arent actually ivory over stainless.. but that it is a stainless insert inside the pilot to keep it stable for the compression fit.. i also was told that all of the ivory jointed cues that Pete Jr shoots with does not have the stainless insert because he prefers it without.. which makes it easy for people to recognize a cue that made for him to play with...

anybody else hear this?

That's a sharp looking cue, just awesome. One of the nicest Tascarella's I've seen. Congrats on your cue
 
I spoke to Pete Sr. Twice yesterday so I can only say what he told me. Pete Jr. Is the one that actually designed the ivory/stainless jont they use and my cue is identical to his other than the wood used in the forearm and butt. Pete Sr. Is sending me pics of both cues together.

lol. I still have the Kelly cue. This Tascarella plays incredible. I might send it to Pete to have some weight added tho, it is a little lite for me. other than that it is superb!
