My Gina's

Thanks so much for the comments, Will, Randy and Tim. I am sorry about the pictures. I am bad at it anyway and breaking my light fixture really made me mad. The electrician who rewired it did not do a good job. He jerry rigged it and did not tell me.

I still think my favorite is the first Ernie made for me...the Pink Ivory cue. The photo makes the red look brighter. The wood in the purple heart box cue is stunning in person.
Thanks so much again,
Phil

Thanks for your comments Tony. Ken Kerner, Hi End Cues knows the story on the wood and can best tell it. I got the cue from Ken. If I recall, it was a curly purple heart that Ernie had for over 30 years. Ken, if you see this, please help me out.
Hey Phil,
Awesome line-up of Gina's.
That piece of Purpleheart was tucked away for aprox 30 years.
Ernie brought this piece back home with him from Columbia, if memory serve's me correct
It is a truly beautiful piece and and has a super translucent effect to it.
The cue has a great home now.
Best,
Ken

I like the feathered as well. Reminds me of the snakewood and silver veneered box cue that Jimmy had and Ken has now. Still wondering whether to take that one off his hands.

The white elephant wrapped cue I may have owned myself a few years back. I think Ernie made a very limited number, perhaps 3-4. Will P has one as does Rick Rodgers.

Paul
Hey Paul,
Don't wait to long :) The Snakewood box Gina will be with me at Hopkins Show.
Best,
Ken

Phil, I've been waiting a long time to to see your Gina's. They're fantastic!! Thanks for posting. Hope to see them all in person one day. :) My favorite is the pink ivory cue. That model just never gets old.

Take care,
Jimmy

Jimmy, actually put this together for you! I have been meaning to do so for a month. I broke my light over the table,(wiring to one socket) trying to get the lighting better. Now my leg is better and I am ready to play and its over for me before I get restarted. Good movie line! TADs will follow soon.

These are for Nick, Tim, and anyone else who liked the Domino 8 pointer. Mine was initially the Jay Novak, not the Jim Rempe. Ernie changed the part and BTW, had all original parts still, from 1965 for the refurbishment! The cue is dead straight with both original shafts plus I had a new shaft made.

Now you have to wonder, how are these pictures so good and my pictures suck? These were taken by Ernie as a before and after. I can't find the befores.

This cue is 50 years old, looks new, and is dead solid perfect.

Phil,
That domino cue is super cool.
Ernie does take some good pictures.

Phil, I would love a video of you taking pictures, and taking the heat doing it:)

Ken,
As you know, I considered myself just a shoe salesman before I retired. We had shoe shows just like cue shows. I would tell our customers that their competitors were coming to Jacksonville to book space before the show and they would go crazy. All the sudden orders being held were released. So I am wondering, and probably Paul too; WILL THE BOX GINA LAST UNTIL THE SHOW? Just a thought...:D

Phil,
I had every intention on the cue going to the show. I haven't posted any pictures of it since I've owned it, and only a few people knew I had it (Well, until this thread). The show is always a cash event which is nice.
BUT, stranger things have happened:)

Wow, nice Cues Phil:thumbup:
I love the Box Cue and for sure the old 8 Pointer:wink:
Have to come over to Florida in Dec.
Cheers,
Ralf

Rod, Colonel, thanks for your comments.

RALF, Please stop by when you are in FL. Ponte Vedra Beach is NE FL, outside of Jacksonville. I have a cue you can use.

All the best,
Phil

The Snakewood Box Cue and the "Blue Cacique" are my two favorite Gina designs. Thanks for posting your Gina collection Phil!
