Since feburary I have gone a little overboad on buying cues . I picked up a couple Gilberts and a Sugartree .

One more and you have a different one for everyday of the week. Just remind her some guys have a different woman for everyday of the week. She might start understanding alittle better then and think cues aren't so bad:grin:

Are all of you bachelors?

Once "GF" becomes "wife", this part of your hobby comes to a grinding halt...or at least slows WAY down. Now she thinks you're crazy...someday she won't, because she'll put a stop to it pronto. Enjoy "your" money now before it becomes community property!!:rolleyes:

Community property? That concept only applies if you split up. Until and unless that happens it's all theirs....at least in my experience...:embarrassed2:

Most of what I own...bikes....guns...cues...knives...etc...I got before I was married. ;)
 
Well I maybe a little crazy ! She doesn't know what they cost , actually she doesn't care what I buy . She just thinks it is crazy that I have more than one . Thanks for all the kind words . I have a couple more on my radar :grin:
 
I know how you feel, I just told my girlfriend that " I was going to get a really old 1pc cue" i.e a Titlist, and she asked how much and I told her and she called me crazy for buying that. Her exact word were "Why would you pay that much for a old beat up cue, just buy a new one, or better yet just use the one you have now." But she still doesn't get the significance of a Titlist, or my cue collecting hobby. Which I get I need to save money I'm only 18 but hey I cant help it I'm hooked. Well that's my story, GL with your girlfriend. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Tell her that it's a sickness and that she will hear the words "Just one more cue and I'm done" more than once. She will also hear "I am keeping this cue forever" more than once. As a matter of fact tell her to ignore it because it is far easier than trying to understand our level of insanity.

*edit* I have another just one more cue on the way ;)
