Pocket angles
Pocket angles are both at 141 degrees. I use a machinist protractor to mark my angles. 3/16 neoprene pocket facings and I use the "cut fat" and sand even method to get them nice and clean looking. Unless you are standing perfectly/ evenly above it with the camera , one of them(this case the one with the shadow) is always going to look off in my opinion. I think I remember RKC saying something about Brunswick not having the corners exact on the older tables?? I do see that in the corner pocket appears to be loose, it is stapled on the bottom of the slate liner. Perfection is tough to achieve like Glen! I am working as hard as I can to get my projects to be as close to perfect as I can. There are no relief cuts showing or ball damaging staples showing. There are also not any shadows on the table showing that I evenly pulled the Simonis 860. I aspire to learn the glue down method and the RKC pocket finishing method. His is the best looking pocket finish I have ever seen. That being said, I do appreciate the constructive criticisms.
My 9' GC3 project is going into The Punch Bowl Social in Detroit, a new Gastro Pub by Greektown Casino downtown, tomorrow. I must do the 2 piece pocket finish on the GC3 because of the difference in the pocket shelf compared to the older Brunswick tables. I will post pictures tomorrow evening. Not used to wrapping up 2 projects within a week, but, I also cannot complain about being busy either.
