My interview with Gilbert Najm

Interesting interview thank you for it

Could no disagree more with you on the equipment
Its the equipment that has partially killed the game for us

When every .3player thinks they can play only on 10k tables with dotted balls and a heater and wont touch a 9ft table,

Get smaller tables, much more affordable
Helpful for learning, more fun for casuals
Introduce straight rail 1 cushion 5 pin

Kids program? Putting children on 10ft tables playing 3c???!!#

It would take children weeks/months to get thier head around 3 rails minimum before 3rd ball

Cues? Id bet far more beleive in its the indian not the arrow

I have personal experience in this matter
Cues lol

I have been torched by carom players and pool players who use a good ol wallabushka

The equipment is not an issue other than the insane price tags

No one here can tell me what the differences in playing conditions are from a chevillott to a sam to a soren sogaard to a gabriels to a verhoven to a min to a breton to a Verhoeven to a jimar to a platin to a diamond to a olhausen( prove me wrong)

So play on small tables with royal pro
Play all games
Give people more options than the single most difficult game in existence on the hardest scale, 10ft match table

Oodles of small tables in europe , south America and Asia

I'm sure he couldn't have been suggesting having kids begin on equipment like that. If someone is already pretty good at nine ball, they have a good chance to enjoy 3C with the proper encouragement and instruction. The main problem is finding tables, of course.

But I agree with you that if a young player is just starting to learn cue sports, 3C on a 10-foot is not a good way to start them.

What was in the interview? My YouTube connection is really flakey right now.

He spoke of a juniors program and the lack of
And of course any program would only be 3c on 10fters in this country , because what else is there? Billiard rooms have 10ft tables and thats all

Im all but certain he did not have straight rail on 8fters in mind

Even mr sayginer started with straight caroms and has junior titles im told

As well as Sanchez, unfortunately i didnt screen shot the photo i seen of him playing balkline
