My latest mini cues

they are getting fancier

I'm getting there! Heres a cue rack that matches for size. A good friend and master woodworker made this for me after he received a mini cue from me. The detail in this far exceeds the cues.

I have made full size cues but I don't really have the proper equipment right now so I fake it:p

I like how "cute" they are. I know scaling them down, true to size, would result in some really thin material. A 3mm shaft would look silly.

These would be really neat personalized gifts. Have you ever inlaid one?

I think the cuteness level of a mini cue with a mini case by JB with a mini cue holder would make the forums blow up from not being able to contain so much cuteness in itself. Tweeten or Kamui or someone needs to make a full set of accessories for these, mini Master chalks and some mini-gloves!

I'm buying my son a pool table for Christmas/Birthday (His B-Day is Dec 4), how much would a mini pool table in about the same size as the cues be so I can stick one under the tree? No need to be fancy with it, I don't want an exact 30:1 replica of a Diamond Pro Am with working ball return hehe. I don't know the exact model I'm getting yet (still looking) so can be a generic looking thing.

Your correct on sizing. I have made these cues to be the correct proportions and they are frail and a real Biotch to make. At these dimensions they are durable. A few weeks ago in Denver a elderly player who lives in Denver and goes by the name of Georgia Boy got so excited when I showed him a cue that he threw his arms in the air and the cue went flying. It bounced for awhile and when I picked it up there was not a mark on it.

Actually these are quite nice. Scale and playable enough to actually learn quite a bit about the game. I learned on one of these when I was a kid.

I made a 4.5 x 9 inch table for my kid and it came out ok I only spent about 90 minutes on it so its not much but still cool.

So far I have sold about 40 of these cues and given away another 15 or so.
I have made replicas of peoples cues and many originals also. I have also tried my hand at snooker cues. It gives me something to do with all those tiny pieces of wood that are just too good to throw away.

I can also reuse old tips:D
I’d like replica of my Doc Frye if you’re interested. Pictured in Ava. Will send full pics

Still have my early Cuebuddy miniature. I am going to keep it, unplayed, until value hits $25,000. I am keeping it for sentimental value and I just have so much sentiment in me!

Seriously, a much appreciated gift.

That was many years ago Hu. I am still amazed at your writing/story telling.
I would love to send you another, lets see how this winter treats me work wise.

Don't put anything in the mail to me without knowing where I am at. Ida the ho put me on the move again. I am about fifty miles from New Orleans now, a little closer than I was. The metropolis of Albany LA. Landed in some apartments for awhile. They allow pets but have a weight limit. If you hear of somebody mauled to death by thirty or forty yorkies it is probably me!(grin)
