Very nice pictures. Where in upstate NY do you live?

Looks like you've got yourself a couple cutie-patooties there. Look out WPBA and IPT!

You got a playa! there. That one shot looked like a masse around the 8 into the 6/9 combo!!

My little girl is a player too!!!

Heres a pic on my little girl running her very first rack of 9-ball on me. Look at that concentration on her face!

Looking a the first picture, the way she is holding the cue reminds me of Keith in the Color of Money...

You aren't wrong!

Beautiful girls, you are right to be proud!! Mine is turning 2 on 4/12 and tells me, "play pool? Play pool DOWNstairs" every day. She loves to put the balls in the pockets, then take them out over and over again (guess the fact that I don't have ball return is ok!). She tells me the color of each ball too, but is a bit unsure of the stripes...thanks for the pleasant thoughts!

My little girl plays too. She's eight. I took her to a tournament with me one time and she had the chance to meet Keith McCready. Keith actually took over an hour giving her a lesson as to how to shoot. Keith was teaching her the side arm technique. She's been shooting really well with it because it allows her to get her head over the cue by leaning over. She's really not tall enough to use a traditional stroke. At any rate, she's improving rapidly and she came home from daycare yesterday and told me that they are having a pool tournament to raise money on friday night. I'm so excited and so is she. Maybe this is a sign that pool is losing some of that negative stigma and truly becoming a family game.

I also have an eight yr old girl. I taught her how to count using the pool balls. I was surprised to find that by age 3 she had the color of the balls memorized.

A few years ago I built platform attachments for her shoes out of scrap wood and velcro. They were somewhat successful but hard to walk in. I guess that answers the question of "Am I a pool geek?".

I would really like to pass on to her my love of the game. I'm having trouble keeping her interested and teaching her the correct way to do things (bridge and stroke etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I love the concentration on her face doing the jump shop!

She's about the same age I was when I began to understand the game, hopefully she will have that life long love affair with pool as I have.

<sarcasm&comedy>Sure she is good, maybe even great, but only at your local bar, tavern, or Regionally. Please don't infer that her "Pro" status should lend us to believe that she can compete at a national level against top pros.</sarcasm&comedy>
