I have worked in Arnot's shop ... off and on ... when he needs help. I decided one day to glue up my own long splice. I cut the 2" x 2" BEM on the diagonal, then glued in the two pieces of 1/8" Brazillian Cherry and a single piece of 1/8" BEM. I used slow-cue epoxy, then turned it down and finished it at Arnot's shop.
