First, you start off with a PREMIUM John Davis full splice blank (TRUE full-splice, not finger-jointed maple) of super highly grained Goncola Alves into straight grain maple, which has 4 dead even, sharp veneers of natural, green, orange, black (haven't I seen those colors before?).

Next, you give this blank to one of the finest young cuemakers in the business, Cory Barnhart, and you let him go. This is what you wind up with.

What you wind up with is a fantastic traditional styled, Ivory jointed full-splice cue that not only looks fantastic, but plays that way, too.

Joe

Davis meets Barnhart

Wow Joe! That is a stunning full splice job! Really nice work on everyone's behalf.

What a superb cue Joe!

Ya know, maybe just maybe I had a (very) little to do with that cue.
I sent Mr. Davis two 30" squares of Goncalo when I had my cue made,
because he didn't have any Alves. Everything went fine on my cue,
so he had a piece left, could it be that this was the other piece?

Anyway, congrats on the cue and I hope you enjoy it tremendously!

gr. Dave
