Just picked up at the WCCS yesterday Basic but nice and Tom Cocker gave a great deal on it. I just loved it when I saw it. Green veneers w/black points on BEM. This will probably end up with Lee at LP to become a cue for me. I was going for a cue but those that met me there know I had the wife with me and she held that leash tight :nono:

Should be a real nice player when done. Lee will see to that.
Also, I believe the name you're after is Coker.
 
Don't believe I've ever seen a curly maple forearm cored with ebony. Should make a nice forward balanced cue. Nice pickup and good luck.

i was wthinking that as well. is that ebony? and if so, has anyone played w/ cores other than maple and what differences does anyone feel.

The Cokers had all kinds of forearms and butt sleeve combos to pick from. I really like the piece you picked up Lazzerus. I like the ebony core. Can't wait to see it put together!
