Guys/Gals,

Here are some pics of my new cue. After a long and tireless hunt, I picked up this MONSTER of a cue from a very, very good friend of mine (thank you again, Steve. It's always a pleasure, sir).

The search was tough...and the decision was tougher. So many folks came through with amazing offers on amazing cues. Like I mentioned on the other thread...the outpouring of support was incredible...and a very humbling experience.

For those of ya'll that spent the last few days with me on the boards, phone, and e-mail, talking about the possibilities, I thank you personally. You know who you are.

So....here ya go!

Mid 19's in weight
2 shafts with ivory ferrules
bumperless Hoppe style cue with ivory ring
gorgeous and slightly thicker leather wrap (old school)
piloted steel joint with thick silver accent rings
dead-nuts perfect Ebony Titlist points and veneers

I just picked up the nicest -R- cue I've ever seen!!! More pics to come once I get it in my hands...and a review from my meager skill standpoint!

I'm thrilled to hear you like the Schon cue, sir. That one is special. Very special. The hit and feedback on that one is just amazing. Can't believe you better half lets you play with it!!!

I feel like a little kid at X-mas time about my new Hoppe Titlist tribute. I can't wait to get it. I've had a few -R- cues, and they've all been great. This one, though....it's ALL classic, and the specs are perfect. Since I'm gonna be gone for quite awhile, this one is staying with me. (no, seriously!!!)

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I'm betting the cue shows up right before I head out...and I could not be more excited about getting it. I have a good feeling about this cue. A REAL good feeling!! :)
 
HOLY CRAP!!!

This cue is incredible!! The pics don't do this cue any justice at all...it is absolutely perfect in every way.

Hunter - one of the favorites here on AZB, and a close friend, was such a pleasure to deal with. He and I go back a few years, and he knows my tastes in cues, inside and out. A true gentleman in every sense of the word.

I know there are a few of ya out there that own a Rauenzahn cue...and I've had a couple of them, myself. Jerry makes a phenomenal cue, and his attention to detail is breathtaking.

This cue looks great, plays great, and I'm so, so happy to call it mine!!

I thank you, Steve....for everything!! :) ;)
