My new dayton cue [pictures updated]

This is my first custom made cue. The balance and the hit of this cue is superb, and the inlays are very very sharp. Every white inlays are ivory, as well as the joint and butt cap. Hope you like it.

Very nice Dayton

I love Paul Dayton cues, and I must say I particularly like the design and color scheme of this cue. I hope to be spending some money in his booth this year at the Expo. Congradulations on a very nice cue. Happy shooting to you.

extremely nice Dayton!! nice design!!
did you pony up for some of his old wood shafts???? <curios how they hit compared...>
Been wanting to design a cue from him with some of those myself....

Paul is an under-rated cuemaker IMO. That is a beautifully crafted cue. Just the right amount of decor.

Thanks for the nice words, gentlemen. Paul is a very nice guy, and I have to say it's a very pleasant journey to have my cue made by him. The cue is mainly designed by myself, and Paul also contributed. Paul is really a custom maker and he hates to make the same cue twice.

It takes 5-6 month for this cue, but it worths everything: the time and the money. You can hardly find the seam between the ivory and the burl, and every inlays on the wood are so sharp. Paul cuts the pockets to make the points sharp after the pantograth/CNC works. It involves a lot of work.

Anyway, thanks and I'm happy that you like it.

This cue is an example of how amazing Paul Dayton's work is. Hopefully this work will light up some of the cue collector and player world to this master cue maker. And they are playing cues, not meant to gather dust.

One of the sweetest cues I have seen for a while! I Really like the ring work! Clean/Uncluttered/Tight just a great looking cue...
