My new Ed Prewitt!!!!!

I am so impressed with this cue. I went to the 3rd edition Blue Book to find some basic information on Mr. Prewitt (location, how long building cues, etc.) and I could not find him in the BB. Is he not in it? If so, does anyone know why? Or maybe I just can't read anymore!

Thanks for the PM Russ!

Amazing 8 pointers. Jerry's full splice veneer work is tight. And the inlay work and rings in that Pruit do be pretty. Silver?
Congradulations and wear them out.
Nick :)

Holy smokes the JR is killer. The EP though is so my style!! Love the blue, love the silver Ed really put a serious piece together here. What a pair. Congrats!!

Hi Nick,

Jerry did an outstanding job on the 8 pointer. I wanted to keep that one clean and simple, hence no inlays. The curly maple and killer veneers make this a truly unique cue. Its the very first 8 point, 4 veneer cue he has made in full spice. It hits absolutley crisp!!

The Prewitt is one of only a handful of 6 pointerst that Ed has made. I had hiim make the ebony points longer than he normally does, the ivory joint capped and the ivory butt cap shorter than his normal style. The silver notched diamonds are my design that he executed perfectly. All the specs on the cue are exactly what I asked him to make it to. 19.5 oz with his two shafts and also with the pre cat Pred 314 partial I had him make up for me. Ed is really a true craftsman. It was worth the wait!!

Best....

Russ

I am not sure I could design a cue that more closely fits my taste. An absolutely gorgeous cue. I may want to contact you sometime about advice in designing a cue. Congratulations.

Thank you. I don't know that I could help you much. I just know what I like and it worked out pretty good. It helps when you have great cue builders to work with.

Great cue Russ. I can't wait to see it, but I'm ducking you. It looks like 4 identical veneers in the butt boxes? Same in the forearms?

Thanks

Kevin

On the EP cue the two inner and two outer veneers are closer in color. But there is a little difference.
