The top cue is Satinwood and tulipwood. Which work well in this cue, the bottom is a paneled cross grain of tulipwood. The macassar cue is a new over under butterfly with BRIDGED POINTS on all intersections. It also has Pauls new celtic braid.

Top cue is chechen wood / spalted maple / satin wood. Backend is shown in detail with the celtic braid. Middle cue is satinwood and permanbucco and has the new butterfly point arrangement and the bottom cue is bois de rose and satinwood. Both of these cues are finished and available.

Saw these cues last nite up at Crown Billiards. They are truly beautyful, classy and head turners. With so much work in them, yet not gaudy. His wood selection and colors are very tasteful. Hats off to Paul Fanelli.

Paul "sees" as good as anyone when it comes to wood design composition. he is very innovative, masterful and i love his work. i just can't say enough about these cues....very nice.

  That spalted maple cue with the celtic knot is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

My mouth is practically watering Joe! I haven't been to Paul's shop in a while and Roger was telling me how amazing Paul's designs are nowadays.

Jeez! I have GOT to get me one of these! Selling my satinwood and cocobolo one was one of my biggest cue regrets to date!

Paul is alot of fun when he gets "inspired". His cleverness never seems to amaze me, and he never gets complacent. After seeing the first celtic braid, we talked a bit and you see the second version in the chechen cue, with the alternating materials. Well that doesn't end there. We will be doing a bit of a Bushka/classic style tribute, with a twist of Fanelli, and we got some plans to take the ring up a notch.

Paul now marks his cues with a small dot in the pin with an "F" marking. Is the cues above, normally the dot is an exotic. In my ebony cue it's in Lapiz (sp), in the green/yellow satinwood cue it has malachite in the pin head.

Nice cue Joe but the blue wrap clashes..............................

on your cue how come you didn't have him bridge the butterflies in the sleeve as well?? i think would have tied the back to the front nicely.

I probably would have had him do that if we had carried the points down as well.

Your cue's forearm is exceptional to behold.

Double this up on the butt sleeve side fo the cue and you have a winner.

I decided I wanted the celtic braid over the extra points and bridging. Maybe we'll do a cue full if celtic braids right down the forearm. :D
