Greg Sowder (Vancouver, WA) conversion cue made using a John Davis fullsplice blank.

I purchased the blank from Martin Bick (jazznpool) and Greg built the cue exactly as I wanted it. Greg is a perfectionist. The cue is flawless and it plays GREAT!

Sharp looking cue. Love the old school style. Greg makes a hell of a solid hitting cue too. I hit one of his a few years back and it hit as solid as it looked.

Very nice looking cue.

i am curious;

what makes the cue a conversion?

Thanks,

SLIM

Wow, it looks great. I have exactly same idea, for a long time...
Can you tell me what is weight, and balance point with SS joint please? Tnx.

I remember that blank. Everytime I would stop at Greg's for work, I'd wonder who was having the Davis blank converted? Now I know. Looks great.

The cue weighs 20.0 oz with the 4.1 oz shaft. The balance point is approximately 19.75 inches from the butt end of the cue.

You would not be disappointed with a John Davis butt.
