My New Latham Custom Cue

I just got this cue from my local cuemaker Derek Latham. Derek is incredibly talented and makes a great playing and great looking cue. While this isn't the fanciest cue he has made by far, it was exactly what I asked him for. I wanted a great player made from beautiful wood and I think that is what I got. The cue is 59 inches long and weighs 19.1 oz and the inlays above and below the wrap are ivory. I just wanted to show this cue because I would say that there are few here that have heard of him or seen his work.

That's a nice looking cue which shows off the nice looking wood very well. I like the light colored wrap to accent the wood.....

Thanks for the compliments on the cue. This cue really plays well and I was prepared for it not to. (I am a pessimist) He told me the cue would play as well as anything I have and although the jury is out on that it is definitely solid and I really like the cue.
