My new/ old cue

Here is an old fullsplice cue that a local maker took down from its original billiard cue specs and inlayed some ivory and mother of pearl in a very old school fashion. I recall seeing this in its process at the makers shop. When I have the info on the original cue maker, I'll post it. Some guy outta Chicago in the late 50's and 60's, Mozer or something like that.

So I got the paperwork and from the eBay sale on 2005, it states the cue was Don Tozer's old cue from the early 1960's, possibly made by Bill Hawkins. I need to go through the paperwork more and probably more research.

Great looking cue, Old School cues never get's old, the veneers / inlay's really pop , so well balanced, wow!

I just might want to pull the trigger on converting one of my titlist.

I wonder if the parts for these cues were made by a single source (either Bob, Bill, or a third party), or if it's just a coincidence that the veneers are so similar.

I haven't had time yet to research it, but the veneer combo is the same.

I recall seeing this cue when my buddy first got it over to Sowder's. Being an old fullsplice, I automatically thought of Spain. It was a club before it was turned down to more modern specs.

I'm going to see if I can find the eBay seller via email address, hopefully he will still be alive and remember.
Good detective work on the veneers.
