Congrads on your new cue

Im sure your gonna love the cue, Jim sure does build a great looking cue and they are a playing cue also. Not just for show he's a hell of a pool player and knows how a cue should play. Cue looks good but get outside in some natural light and you will get some good pictures, Keep on putting these killer cues out Jimbo. thier looking good ,<<< ED

Congrats on the new cue! Those veneers really do stand out. You just have to appreciate how well Jim lined up the points grain with the grain in the handle especially with ring work in between them.

Jim...once again real nice stuff..hope you have those other pics to post.

LOVIN' THOSE VENEERS!!!

You said you were going to post a review...I can't wait to read it!!! I have an idea how it's going to read though...

I have one Pierce right now with another one being built as we speak...well, it's supposed to be being built, but I see Jim's wasting time with posting in this thread...next thing you know we'll find out Jim's wasting precious cue-building time doing things like eating meals...or sleeping...wow, some cuemakers have no priorities! ;););)

I kid!!! Jim's a great guy to deal with (in my opinion one of the best!)...makes one of the best hitting cues I've owned...and the aesthetics of his cues are top-notch!!!

Thanks for posting pics of this beauty!!!

Jason

Very striking and unique cue. It shows how so much can be accomplished with little embellishment.

Those points remind me of several old cues. It really has an old school look to it but without being trite. It is not a re-do of the old school "formula" at all. It's fresh yet clearly shows a foundation in traditional designs.

From the pics those look like veneers. Are they? Or are they re-cut points?

In either case it is very striking.

I do want to hear about how it plays.

Nice post there, chopdoc! Right on the money! Jim's cues are top shelf, at a price that the working man can afford!! What's a "BOWLING ALLEY SHAFT"?? hee hee!!!
