My new table!

Bought a table after seeing it listed on here from DannyLee and I must say I could not be happier with the experience.... Table was already in dismantled so was unable to view it in working condition!

had to trust what i was told about the table was accurate and would play as well as described.... It does!!

Dannylee - thanks we hear a lot of stories of purchases not as described or hidden issues and I can say that the table is as described and plays great, even the wife did not think it would look that good - she was concerned when I said how old it was :)

Houston Pool table Movers (Daulton and co) - Did a fantastic job on the table and made sure i was happy with every thing before leaving... Did not complain (too much) when faced with getting the slate up the stairs and Price was very reasonable too... so anyone in houston area looking to have quality job done i would highly recomend them!

Room is perfect size all round - maybe looks tight in the picture but no jacking up of cue required and you forget there is a wall behind you very quickly!! will maybe move the counters down to the bottom but happy where they are for now...... now moving on to lighting and decorating the room.

thanks
Scott

Congrats!!!! You must be happier than a pig in $#!^, I know I was and still am when I got my GC. Is that a GCII? I would say GCIII but it does not have the copper colored trim to go with the full stain. Mine is a GCII that was originally white but we stained it a couple years ago, we had a tough time matching the rails, yours looks like a real good match. I have seen quite a few that look not so good as far as the color match goes, I did not want to make the same mistake on mine.

Its a GC1 with Original trim I beleive....

Very happy with the table... and glad I waited for the right one.

Table

Looks like a GC 2 to me...
The GC1 was painted...

I'd have to see closer up to tell for sure...

I've seen them with no ball storage ( that's what I'm assuming with pictured table) and Ive seen them Installed on wrong end....
The score keepers/foot rail and the ball storage apron are installed on the same end /foot end.

Does it have the ball shelves? Would expect that under the foot rail with the scorers. Is that under the other rail with the nameplate? ?
It's real nice. You can switch the ball holder around without taking rails off. Just move skirts.

Danny is an awesome guy and great to deal with.
Congrats on the new table, it looks great. Enjoy!

You might move the ball storage shelves to the bottom. The foot end slate has clearance cutouts under the counters.
Switch out the ball storage shelf box and foot end aprons to under the counters, and then switch the head end apron.
If you move the counters down to the other end you'll need to lift the end cloth and cut out clearance for the counters.

If you don't want to tackle that job by yourself, I'd get the table guys back. It's not that hard if you have the equipment.

Nice table.
