My new work is nearing completion~YANG CASE

Hey Mr. Yang, your work is hard to describe!

I am searching for the words and am coming up blank.

You are an unbelievable talent at your craft.

I am a huge fan.

My question is .. Why do people like you care? Do you own marvel copy rights? Are you losing money from this case being made ? Just enjoy the amazing work and if Marvel has a problem with it they'll let him know. in other words .. Mind your own business lol

I dont see where anyone is "crucifying" anyone. I sent Yang a pm yesterday to politely mention about copyright laws, while complimenting him on the case. I sent that pm after reading where several folks suggested turning it into a line of comic book character cases. Rex's case was an infringement as was the mighty mouse case. But there was no talk about a line of cases based on continuing copyright infringement with the other two mentioned. Thats the difference. Then today Yang said he thought (and Im paraphrasing) that since others have done it, and his was derivative of others work that it was ok. Thats when I made a public post about it.
Hope this makes sense.

I sent him a pm to try and help keep him out of trouble. Maybe if you werent always looking for opportunities to argue you would reread my post and realize that.

Oh ps lol

When I saw all the scrimshaw cues that were based on movie themes, I wondered if they were violating copy rights. So I asked about it and was told by one of the cuemakers that they were allowed to make one tribute cue on one theme and no more. I have no idea if they are right or not. If they are right then one Iron Man cue would be okay. But who knows if they are right or not.
