Here are a few photo's of the cues I picked up over the last 2-3 weeks. I am done for awhile......UNLESS!!!!
I bought most of these out of a collection, and some may go up for sale shortly, but I am really looking for "OLD SCHOOL" Scruggs cues like the one in the photos. If anyone has anything similar or even a little different and see's something they are interested in trading for, give me a try.
There are some REALLY nice cues in this bunch:
1.AE 4-pointer with "Bushka" influence, nice slotted diamond inlays with Bushka rings, and veneered boxes with slotted diamonds and Silver dots. Silver bars between boxes. Super classy old school looking cue.
2. AE Ebony forearm with Beautiful Burl points and razor sharp Ivory inlays in all six points. Burl sleeved joint, and signature AE Inlayed diamond ringwork. Amazing wood in person
3. Judd - Brand New from Judd, NOT FOR SALE, prettiest cue I think I have seen in a long time, plays a TON!!!!
4. Chris Nitti - Ivory Joint, Ivory Buttcap, Amboyna Burl buttsleeve with ebony oval inlays housing super sharp ivory inlays, Burl forearm with 4 Ebony points with 4 veneers, and 4 Ebony points recut with ivory. Like all Nitti's, great playing cue
5. Kikel - Rosewood with beautiful figure, Ivory Joint, Ivory Buttcap, super cool looking slotted abalone diamond inlays, Gorgeous cue. (Unplayed...until now!!)
6 Kikel - Classic looking old school 6-point Kikel that plays good as one would expect. Cue doesn't have a mark on it, and judging by the KQ on the cue I think it is an older model of his. 4 Shafts
7. McDaniel - Ebony with nice Ivory and Burl inlays, pretty cue
8. Mottey - I know this cue is super plain, has extremely figured curly maple where you can see the flash in the grain, no points, no inlays, no anything, just a playing machine with Ivory buttcap and Mottey's signature
9. Scruggs - This is the kind of cue I am looking for, something "old school", preferably one of his older cues, but would look at others if price is right. NOT FOR SALE
10. Star City Cue - Al "Link" great playing five pointer with cool veneer colors and signature Ivory star inlaid above buttsleeve
11. Omen - Merry Widow not sure of the wood, leather wrap, Ivory dashed rings
12. Omen - Ebony Six Pointer with Amboyna Burl points with two veneers, Ivory dashed ringwork at joint and below Burl ring at buttsleeve, (Unplayed)
13. Omen - Four ebony points into Birdseye with Linen wrap, Ivory dashed rings, Ivory Hoppe Ring Bumperless cue (Unplayed)
14. Omen - Four ebony points into Birdseye wrapless with Ivory dashed rings, Ivory Hoppe Ring Bumperless cue (Unplayed)
15, Omen - Four Snakewood points into Ebony with fancy rings, linen wrap (Unplayed)
16. Big Richard Black - Six pointer, three high-three low with Ivory diamonds inlaid into points, really cool fancy buttsleeve and custom ringwork. (Unplayed)
