I explain how throw shots work and how to calculate the distance a ball can be thrown.
The second part of this video is all about carom shots. Caroms between two or more
object balls and caroms which send the cue ball off one ball and into another.

I received the video on Thursday and watched part of it on Friday. On Saturday I used the info to win a hill-hill game in a crucial match in a tournament I eventually won.

Nice going RakR. Great stuff is when we learn something... apply it and get the result. Tom’s material is eye opening. Executing is not my biggest problem. It seeing/knowing what to look for. Tom’s book and DVD’s are A Map the Treasure.

I concur completely. I'm watching it over and over at work and out of
all of Toms' excellent videos to date...this is the best one...

Really excited to see what he comes up with next !

BTW: I do remember playing carom 9 ball with a friend years
ago using the object ball as the cue ball and can see this as a
great way to get the angles down.

Maybe Toms' next one could be the art of freezing the cue ball to an
object ball (or stack) from anywhere on the table.
