That is an oldie

That thread is pre McDermott pin for sure. Is your Cue a 57 inch Custom or 58 inch.
They do play unreal.

Nice, very classy. I wish they have kept making cues like this. The present day Joss with the rounded points and inlays look like shit.
 
Real beauty. This is the way a pool cue should look to play great pool with. The flat faced ivory joint Joss play like god, i know mine does. Thanks for sharing and hope you enjoy many racks with your cue. That is until you sell her to me. lol

If they can make em like that..you shouldn't have to ask. That should just be the way they come like the good ol days lol.

Ps..I don't know if they can.. look at that deep honey colored shaft wood. Thats not as easy to come by anymore and thats a big part of why those old classics play so darn good :)

Wow that's a nice Joss, I love the veneer colors flames. The person did a fantastic job on the refinish. Thanks for sharing. :thumbup:

Just curious who dated the cue?

I know they can. But it's a shame a person even has to ask. They can make them sharp but ordinarily don't! So ordinarily they make cues half-assed is what that says to me.

Nothing against you or your cue of course. In fact, I would love to see your cue if you would be kind enough to share.

I disagree. He has found a business model that works for him, his product & has been able to give back to the pool community (Joss Tour) among other things. I don't see a lot of custom cue makers doing that.

Yet he can still make a killer custom however you desire. They have found something that has allowed them to stay in business for nearly 50 years. When you're in business for yourself that's what its about, right? Sustainability. :wink:

I'm sure he'll make you a cue exactly like the beautiful one in this thread if you so desire.

I agree Nick.. If you get lucky enough to find one that has a butt that fits your hand it's heaven. I found a couple of them but I had to buy a few more than that to do it.. Very nice cue Sam..Enjoy!
 
Very nice. Got my own block letter Joss last year with my tax return. Will have to do the same this year. Missed out on a few due to lack of funds.
