My next couple of weeks.

I started out last Saturday the 7th around 11pm from Washington State. Stopped at Mike Massey's house, refinished the rails on his Diamond 9ft ProAm then recovered the table in Simonis Tour Blue, he lives outside Salt Lake City, UT. Finished his table, headed to Las Vegas. Got there Monday night, went to Pool Sharks, recovered the 2 Diamond 9ft ProAm's there for John. Left Las Vegas on Thursday heading to Indio, CA to deliver and set up 2 Diamond 7ft ProAm's at the Outdoor Resorts, finished that, then took off for Pheonix, AZ where I am right now. I'm breaking down a GC 1 for Pete Glen, moving it from one house to another on the same property, setting it back up and recovering it in Simonis Tour Blue 860...finally get my McDermott C-21 cue back I sold to Pete for food money back in January 2001 when I went back to work at Diamond after the Christmas holidays...because I was to proud to ask Greg for any food money...LOL, my eating wasn't his problem. I needed food and a motel room before I could go back to work on building the Diamond 9ft Smart Tables used in the 2001 Derby City Classic. I should have borrowed some money from Greg Sullivan...LOL, but if I'd have done that, I would never have met Pete Glen...I like him a lot, he's a hell of a nice person...so here I am today working off buying my cue back...my cues in MINT condition...so I guess it's worth it...LOL

From here, I'm off to Lawrence, KS to set up the slates, and install the cloth on a 9ft Brunswick Centennial for a fellow AZ'er that contacted me for help. That'll be my Sunday noon work, then 35 miles from him, just a little south of Kansas City, MO. I'm picking up a Brunswick 8ft home table to drop off in Ohio on my way to Brooklyn, NY. From the Brunswick 8ft table pick up, I'm heading up to Cedar Rapids, IA to drop off a Diamond 9ft ProAm to Dale, not setting it up yet, because the room is not ready yet, but it will be by the 20th. After that, I'm heading up to Orland Park, IL just a little south of Chicago to Pro-Tyme Billards to drop off 2 used/reconditioned Diamond 7ft Smart Tables, and recover 4 Brunswick GC4's. From there, I'm heading to Jeffersonville, IN to the Diamond factory. From there I'm off to Ohio to drop off the Brunswick 8ft, then to Baltimore, MD to deliver and setup/recover a Diamond 9ft ProAm, then on up to Brooklyn, NY to deliver Diamond's second made 8ft Smart Table. After all that, it's still kind of foggy, because I still have to deliver 9 Diamonds to Minote, ND. try and fit in the 9ft ProAm delivery to Russ in Florida, pick up 9 Diamond tables from the factory heading to Seattle, WA for another pool room opening there, but can't carry enough tables for the room with me, so I have to run back down to Vegas, pick up the rest of the 9ft ProAm's there, then run back to Seattle....all before the 1st of May...LMAO

Have I confused anyone yet????????....I know I am...hehe

Now if Diamond would just provide you a nice Class A RV... with their name and ad message on the sides would make a good marketing/image tool for them.

You mean...the Diamond 15ft E350 box truck Diamond gave me to deliver pool tables with, along with my 18ft trailer....ISN"T a RV???????...LOL

It has a bed, crockpot, microwave, coffee pot, computer...LOL, it's just a little crowded right now...full of pool tables...but hey...it works...LOL

Glen

Go for the 40' Class A - modified to tote tables with a liftgate on the side and you can ditch the trailer ... and have room for a hot tub. Top class tables should have top class transportation. :D

Glen,

do you ever fly to locations to build tables? if so, how do you bring your tools?

Sundown
No, I don't build tables anymore, though I still do have my complete wood shop. As far as bringing my tools, I drive everywhere I go...LOL

Glen

I'm sorry, I wrote build I meant assembly. I notice you were from Washington state. Brian at Daimond mentioned he was going to ask a guy from Washington to delivery tables to me in Southern CA. Maybe he was talking about you.

If I could get the pool tables on an airplane, and get it to land where the tables need to be installed, I'd still rather drive my 2007 Shelby Cobra GT500 Mustang to the job site and finish up installing them,...but, unfortunately, they can only be delivered by truck, so my Shelby's still sitting at the car dealership waiting on me to pick it up...LOL

"IF" RKC can't make it there and you still need someone I can give you a name and number for a guy in the Ft Meyers/Marco area that does good work.

Hey Glen,
Would the owner of the 8 footer you currently are taking to OH be interested in trading/swapping for a 9' Black Crown? I'm in the Chicago area and my Black Crown is a little too big for my room, so I'm looking for a decent 8' table.

If you're serious, I'm go to go. Let me know when you need to firmly schedule and I'll make direct contact with you.

Glen,

Brian ask me today if I wanted you to drop off tables here in So CA. There ready to ship, he said you going to be at the factory tomorrow. Question is - how long would it take for you to come to down here? your schedule seems pretty busy. Brian and myself would perfer to have you deliver them but I have also been waiting awhile.

thanks, Sundown

Thanks Glen

Glen - Looks like your getting more and more busy with all the requests you have here on AZ. I feel pretty lucky that you were able to work my Centennial in. You did a great job and for those folks that don't know it...Glen certainly is one of the best table mechanics out there. Thanks for working me into your schedule. It was worth the wait to have my table set up by a pro.

Marv
