Grab a phenolic rod. Turn it true about 2.5 inches long.
Drill bore it 5/16 THROUGH.
Tap the hole through.
Bore the bottom .350 by 1.325 deep ( no need to keep the pin overly tight. Bore as you like ).
Insert the pin to your lenght liking ( I like mine 1.325" long ).
Insert an aluminum connecting screw ( stopper ) on top until it hits the pin.
Take it out and put some 5 minute epoxy near the top.
Put it back and let dry.
Take pin out and face off excess aluminum screw.
Route two opposing flats on top of the installer for grip.
Use some wax on the face and the hole when istalling a pin so epoxy doesn't get to it.

That's a no-scratch plier in the pic. Great for ferrules and pin turning too.

Have fun. Why patent this? It's so easy to make.

Actually, the hardest part is cleaning my shop enough so I can find my phenolic and stuff:grin:

Forgive the invasion but D'Angelo makes the best screw holders I have ever seen or worked with, And affordable for the cheap people.
