I like it, hope it plays lights out for ya.

yea i sure do, i wanted the wrap a little longer and like how it turned out. Don't usually do the bumpers, but figured I'd throw one one this time. I was playing with it b/f I had the finish on and it hit good, but with that superglue it stiffened it up just a bit and i love it.

thanks,
Keeb-

Classic good looking. Understated elegance for your statement game!

I didn't know you had a clue of making anything besides balls and erl rise from the depths.

Nice work Keeb!

Great work Keeb! You should also exercise your artistic talent with sketching and painting. I know it aint the same as pool but dude you are an artist.

you know I still got that old drawing of the bridge hand I did...jens actually a good painter and so is my little roommate(he does amazing stuff) I was thinking of doing a cue sometime and having my uncle who's and impressionist painter paint some kind of scene around the wrap and seal over it....think that would look unreal with some nicely figured butt sleve and forarm.

thanks,

That looks real nice, Keeb. I like the double ivory ring in the butt at lot, very classic look to go with the old blank. Good job. Hope you enjoy it for a long time.

You did all that on Todd's lathe (AZ member tsp&b)?

Just trying to figure out how you'd do tapered cuts on that lathe?

No lol, I had the cue 3/4 of the way done already. I did the finish work on that lathe(matched joint/finish/stain/wrap/bumper), the cue was built during the week i was up in tulsa for the onepocket classic. I did work on it at S&K' custom cues shop, at the cue spots custom shop, and at my cue mentors shop joel weinstock....cues been on quite a few pieces of equipment. I had it just wax sealed and playable just no wrap,no matched joint, bumper etc...untill i got the lathe in down here.

Definately want to thank Sung for showing me how to properly do a finish with the superglue to a mirror shine! Thanks very much bro!

Soon I will have a taper bar made for that little lathe I just got in tho a dual stacked one for the butt and shaft. I think the lathe is great too, it was money very well spent.

thanks,
Keebie

It actually happened by chance with the Double ring. The piece of ivory had a hairline crack and was almost to finish size with a flat spot, which would have looked horrible so what I did was cut a groove in the middle and filled it with black conap epoxy. I didn't want to lose the piece so that was the best route to remove the flat spot and still have the Ivory ring IMOP and it turned out to really be a great part of the design.

I really like simple stuff and rings are always good...still trying to figure out my logo/name situation tho.

i'm like zenith the tag don't go on till the quality goes in :)
