Thanks, you don't fool anyone with sneakies anyway, these days.
I might use this scheme on my players' too.

I don't think it was his intention to keep it plain but rather use a sneaky pete to practice on....

Looks nice too.....

maybe i'm a traditionalist joey, but i think you break down your butt into too many sections.

the fact that you used an off white material along with the delrin instead of the traditional delrin(or whatever) one piece, tells me you weren't quite commited to the idea......ie, you wanted to say something different in the butt, yet couldn't free yourself from the idea of the one single piece of material. so you used a different material that is ALMOST white.

i don't think it works.

i love the rings.

the points look REALLY short.

I have to go with Bruin on this one... I think the craftsmanship is sharp, but it looks like you lost your design plan along the way. With that said... let me offer my opinion at an improvement... I would eliminate the middle set of rings... and butterfly splice the buttsleeve maple to the handle. That would be a fantastic cue! With that design, I would also consider letting the maple at the bottom of the points come to a point instead of being squared-off...

Trying not to be too critical because it is a great cue and nice craftsmanship.... I can only dream of building a cue like that.

Thnx.
THis is just an ex-beat up house cue.
You don't use Delrin for rings because it deadens the hit imo and finish doesn't stick to it.
I plan to use staghorn for collars and dash.
thxn again

Sharp cue Joey. Those rings really look great and the ring on Shane's cue look great too. Do you have your own logo for your cues or do you sign them?

Nice Work

I'll just sign them for now.

Joey that's real nice. Why don't ya call it a "Not So Sneaky".:)
You should think about logos. Maybe a small kangaroo or whatever it is that the Aussies call a Joey.
