Hey guys, here's a Titlist (26 1/2) conversion I just received back from Chuck Starkey.
Here's the story...I previously had a true Scruggs sneaky that hit as solid as anything I've ever had - it was great, but I like veneers. I love the simple look of Titlist cues just the way they are, and I had a spare Scruggs sneaky shaft, so I had a thought (and ironically a Titlist on hand). I'd have the titlist converted, keeping the stock shaft, and have the Scruggs shaft matched for a second shaft with the cue. What can I say, it came out beautifully thanks to some phenomenal work by Chuck Starkey. The cue hits like a dream with both shafts :wink:
Anyways, here's some pre-conversion pics:
(Doesn't look like purpleheart eh?
)
