My Ron Haley Cue In Progress

Matt,

That is one awesome looking cue. I really like the veneer colors.

Those rings are sweet, too!!

Congrats!

Hope your saving your pennies She's gonna be one mighty expensive cue. I can't wait to see the butt. Ron e-mailed me and said he thought up somthing and he's never tried it before so it should be interesting to see what he's talking about once he creates it.

That cue will be just my style, but I am sure it will be expensive. Anyway, I can't wait to see the finished article.

Butt Update

Progress update .....The veneered boxes for the butt are done! Note the 2 different sizes. I don't see any flaws at all Ron is also very pleased with the way they turned out. Can't wait to see how he's going to fit them all in that butt sleeve.

Just thought I would share some pics of my latest cue in progress. They will be boxed points when they are finished. There will be inlays with engraving in the Ebony points as well as engraving in the Ivory points. All comments and thoughts are welcome. Check out Ron's shop in the backround looks pretty awsome. Hopefully I'll get down to see it in person someday. Thanks for looking and I'll add pic's as Ron sends them to me.

I would like to get down to visit Ron someday. Hopefully he will attend Valley Forge again. Ron is always willing to share knowledge and I enjoy soaking up as much of it as I can.

I think difficult is probably an understatement. Look at these pic's Ron sent me today. He still has the long boxes to go but this will give everyone an idea of what is involved in making this butt come together.

Wow!!!

It is safe to say that Ron is the MAN, his work never ceases to amaze. On top of it, he is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of conversing with via e-mail. He is one of the makers on my list of inspiration. That cue is going to be sick when it is done.

Thanks for the complements. I also forgot there are also going to be silver barbells in the butt as well. This will be Ron's fanciest cue to date. I believe that it will come out great without being overdone. More pic's to come!

99.999 % sure . When I talked with John Showman about the design he said he felt that it was Ron's most intricate and difficult cue to date.
I'll email Ron for his opinion just to make sure .
