Zims thread prompted me to start a thread I have been thinking about for a bit.

For all of you who are frequent contributors to this board, please post up a picture or two of your pool table or room. If you dont know how to post it or you need the picture hosted on the web email me the picture @ ryleyf@hotmail.com.

Cmon, Blud-Joseph-Purman-Rick-Hemi-Yoba-Rick, Classiccues, Cardiac kid, Instroke, Ted H, Wally, Bob and Eydie...everyone else, let's see your place.

I was also thinking it would be fun to start a thread with pictures of the local hall you play at, but lets just post those here too.

So come on everyone, show us where you play.

Here is my room from two angles. I have a 1998 pro-8 Brunswick Centurion with the black super-poly finish and Simonis 860. If any of you are in Seattle you are welcome to come by for a few racks and I'll releive you of some of your traveling budget.
Keith M.- you'll notice your picture on the back wall, overseeing play on my table!

Franks Room

Frank said in his email that his room is 18x22. Sweet Spot, I would play there anyday. What are the dots on your playing surface for? Practicing leaves?

They are notebook paper hole reinforcing circles. I use them to set up shots for practice. They come off easy and do not seem to hurt the cloth. This allows me to set up a shot and shoot it until I am confident I can make it. I also put them on the rails over the old MOP dots so I could see them better. Other times or other pictures you can see a chalk grid (blackboard chalk) in white across all the diamonds. I used that for postion practice until I got one of those Target Pool games. I suppose you could use the hole reinfocement thigs for position practice. Pretty small target, though ;) . The table has Simonis 760 and 4.5" pockets (double shimmed). I think I will add another shim next time it is recovered (in a couple of months). Thanks for posting the picture.

My room is 21X20 designed for the gamblers in the area. Behind the GC4 is a slot machine. Yea, it gets played too.

Man- you all are getting me very psyched about my table. Currently having the basement finished, then floor goes in, then, finally, TABLE!

Hoping to have it all done in 40-60 days and can't hardly wait!! The room is 14.5x30 and I have been gifted a turn-o' the century 4.5x9. Wish it was a gold crown, but oh well...

Don't burn this thread out- I wanna post my pics!

These are all nice tables guys! I'm getting more ideas from all of you for my room. This is a temporary home, due to my job with the US Air Force. I plan on having a very large room in my "retirement" home!
GREAT TABLES, ALL OF THEM!

We've got a Brunswick Century 9-foot in the basement. Never a dull moment! ;)

King Carom,

Thanks for asking. I have no pics of my basement pool room but this is the type of table I have. An 8' 1905 Brunswick Wellington if my research is correct:

http://www.brunswickbilliards.com/history/antique_tables/wellington.html

And Keith McCready will be pleased to know his autographed photo is proudly displayed between 2 lovely ladies, Fran Crimi and Dawn Hopkins.

My girlfriend's APA ladies team finished fifth in Vegas in August this year so her 5th place plaque is up there along with numerous other plaques and trophies won locally. Mostly because I had the good sense to play on teams with good players who have carried my sorry ass :D

Hey Keith,

I love the spot you're giving these guys. They play with a cue, you play with a Bud can. Sounds fair to me. ;)

Nice room Keith...what kind of action do you get on your own table? LOL :D
Do you have to give up another ball since its your home room? :p

I received two Pictures from Elliot, I don't know who that is on the board here, but what a nice room! The pictures, table, & ambience are perfect!

Me too Wally. Keith's photo is (now) over the light switch in my 3rd photo. You have to look at Keith every time you go to the door. I kinda like having the greatest bar table player ever hanging on the wall. Thanks again Keith.
