You're in luck, though...you're birthday present DOES involve a cue. It's the best decal cue the flea market had to offer...and has your name all over it. No...really...it does. I wrote your name all over it in pink sharpie.

Great looking addition to your Searing! How did Dennis ever talk ya into elephant (or any other animal for that matter) hide? I've been trying to talk you into exotics for years with no luck! Now, you just need a case like the one in the picture with my Kleinbushka to go with it. Would that ever be a slick setup!

All is well on the home front. We're moved in...and slowly unpacking boxes and whatnot, making the house a home. Good Lord, is it fun!!!
Dennis made a trip up to D.C. and twisted my arm all to hell to put elephant on the cue. He doesn't look all that imposing...but the man is freakishly strong. Wicked strong. I didn't stand a chance!!
I have to agree...that case would be an excellent addition. Very sharp, indeed. Go ahead and send it...and feel free to leave the Kleinbushka in there. I can re-house it in my other case. You're welcome, in advance!

Yeah, that Searing character looks to be a wiry individual, so I understand the elephant hide now :wink:. I hear he runs with a group of renegade cuemakers in the Florida swamps (and golf courses) that will literally hold you down and make you change your ferrules, tips, and wraps, etc. I always thought it was just rumor, though...
Maybe we should just have a "road plan", where you get the tan elephant case and the Kleinbushka for a few months, and then you send the case back with the Searing in it for a few. You send the Searing first, OK?

Thanks much for the kind words. You're absolutely correct in that Dennis did a fantastic job on this cue.
The wrap is just incredible. I could not possibly be happier with it. I just recently came to the realization that a fellow AZB guy had a hand in this upgrade project.
Martin (jazznpool) from Superiorcues was the source of the wrap itself...and he really got it dead-nuts right with this one. He fired off a couple of these to Dennis, and Dennis then picked the best matched one to put on my player.
Love it when a plan comes together like that!!!
