The top cue is the cue i play with, it's a Scot Sherbine w/ two shafts
The next one is a Mike Stacey, jump/break. The shaft below is an original old Southwest, i guess as ivory ages it turns yellow.

Varney is (of course) correct. Nice cues. Welcome to AZ. Lots of good folks here and if you stay around you'll meet some in person and have good close friends all over the country. Pretty cool. REAL cool in fact.

What part of the country are you in?
 
Thanks for the comments. Yellow micarta? i did not know that. I'm from Dayton Ohio. Play out of the same room as Jason Miller. Guys like him, Dee Adkins, Shannon Murphy, and Frank Ruby all play there.

Coro, welcome aboard AZ. You have some real nice looking cues. Have seen some of Sherbine's conversion cues like this and played with a few....excellent work and they hit stiff and crisp. Mike Stacey is a great guy, builds a great cue too. That's some great players out of your room.....

Definitely welcome to the board. I think Sherbine's cues are the sneaky sneakies. You don't see many for sale because people just don't sell them. His cues are just as flawless as his restoration work. Mine was stolen when I let a pool room manager use it. Guess that's sort of a compliment. =o\

Coro, whats the story behind the Mike Stacy. He used to be in Fort Wayne, but now relocated somewhere else in Indiana. I know its in the cue blue book just need to look it up. Anyways, I am in Fort Wanyne and traded a Mcdermott for a Stacy player. To add salt to the wound, I had the other guy through in $20. When I contacted Mike, he said this stick originaly sold for $375 to $400. He had only made 13 of that style. The odd part was the shaft was made of tiger stripe with a straight taper. I made another shaft for it cause you could feel the stripes but it looked real pretty. Mike responded to me e-mail inquires and was plesant to deal with.

I got the Stacey from a guy that does all of my cue work, he has a lot of cues in his collection. I told him i was looking for a jump/break ever since i had a really nice cannon jump/break that got stolen a while back. Anyway he showed me 2 Staceys (i'm not sure where he got them, think he said he paid $275 each). One in the pic had a really warped shaft. So he took the Brown phenolic ring work off of it and put it on another shaft for me. i'm also havin him do a brown phenolic tip whenever he gets back in town. I'll post pics of that when its done.
