My Thread… Regarding The Truth about so called ‘Objective Aiming Systems’ such as CTE

My understanding of CTE has been refining for nearly 10 years. I have sought to grasp every aspect of CTE.......and yes my knowledge is complete.....I am totally satisfied with where I am with CTE......

I have zero intentions of spoon-feeding you or the likes of you.

Only a 'fool' thinks his or her knowledge is EVER complete, for when one does that, their mind is closed & can not receive any new knowledge that might enhance what they incorrectly thought was complete.

That new knowledge that one does not receive could make their supposed complete knowledge totally wrong & incorrect, but they will never know such as they did not receive any new knowledge to tell them so.

An open mind is far better than a closed one.

I recently saw another 'philosophy' which simply asks. 'Do you question the answers?' That basically means do you think for yourself or do you think what others tell you to think. That was posted by Duckie/Greg.

I already heard it.

I have stated many times that I have made my determination regarding whether or not CTE is an objective aiming system & that my determination is that it is not. Others should make their determination.

No logical, rational, reasonable, critically thought out, non science bending explanation nor statement has been made by anyone to convince me to change my determination...

but my mind is certainly open for such & I have asked for such many many many times.

Yet none has been forth coming. The 'lurkers', as you call them, can certainly make their own determinations, as well they should.

I was once rather intrigued with the description of an 'objective aiming system' & would love to be convinced in that direction regarding my determination.

If you spent half as much time on your table trying to figure something out, as you do on here refuting things, then you would either figure it out or become so proficient from experimentation, that you would be able to create a system of your own that you could promote.

You remind me of the guy I play with on Sundays. When I try to explain anything to him, he babbles like Rain Man and refutes everything. Yet, a week or two later I see him doing what I told him, or he saw me doing. When you call him on it, he starts babbling again.

Aiming is nothing more than AIMING. There is NO NAME for it. You can call it CTE, ABC, FBI, CIA, or WTF...it is all the same damn thing. You aim at the ball. You overlap, divide it, multiply it, or whatever you want to do...it is the same thing but people see it differently and explain it differently.

Use whatever portions of it that works and move on or shut up about it. There is NOBODY that I can see on here or ever heard of in a pool hall who is being deprived from learning because of CTE BS or any other system. It is in your head.

Not so according to JB & Stan. There are very very many that may have been enticed by the description of an 'objective aiming system'.

TonyTheTiger spent more than a year trying to get it to work as an objective system & never could... because it's not.

I do not know how much time Dan White has spent with it off & on but he too can't make it work 'objectively'.

I'm sure one would eventually drop it & move on, but at what cost & waste of time?

I have a ruptured disc in my back & don't do anywhere near what I did before, so it's not difficult at all to listen to music or television & participate here.

But... I don't see why anyone would or should care about how much time or involvement I spend.

No one is forced to read anything that they do not wish to read. I don't read 1% of what is posted here on AZB given all that is in the main & on NPR & I doubt that many if any others do either.

One reads what one wants to read.
