These diagrams obviously leave a lot of room for debate over what is possible and what is not, but when I first looked at the diagram I thought "out of line? looks perfect to me!" After some more consideration, though, I thought maybe the 4 ball was in the way for the shot I had in mind. Now I'm really not sure... it's one of those that might be too close for a "wei" call.
Anyway, my thought was that, with the 3, 4, and 5 all hanging over holes and not requiring any special position, that I would just fire at the two and try to play shape on the 3 and run out. It looks like there's room to make the 3 if you can get whitey anywhere near the bottom rail, and even if you miss the 2 (preferably on the pro-side), there's a chance that you'll end up with a leave behind that knot of balls, or least with a lot of distance between cb and ob. Something like this:
I don't particularly like trying to make the 2 and the 3 in the same shot, because the 2 is just hard enough to make and the 5 is just easy enough to hit that you could very likely make the 3 and not the 2, potentially putting yourself in a nasty spot. I think either the carom on the 10 or some sort of leave would be my second choice. I doubt I would be banking at the 5/3 unless I was way ahead and just wanted to roll the dice while firing at the 2-10 carom.
JMHO,
Aaron
