My very special case

This is a case that I had John Barton and his gang build for me
I am a diehard Packer fan and have not missed either being at a game
or watching it on TV since 1957 yes every game started by watching
with my granddad every Sunday....made many special memories

The case is supposed to look like football leather so the pebble look is great
and the football stitching looks great and he got the Green Bay Packer logo
and colors perfect. This case was made to go with my Pechauer cue that was
dedicated to Brett and his career with the Packers and all of the proceeds
went to Breast Cancer as his wife was a survivor. Joe made 25 of them but
mine is the only one with Ivory joint and two extra ld shafts with matching
Crown Jewels and custom joint protectors with a green lizard wrap on it.

There are a lot of details and information on this cue and the records he set
during his career . If you want to see more of this cue let me know and I
will put up some pictures detailing it.

This case took 18 months to get as we were going back and forth on details
and they were overseas at that time. There were lots of drawings and details
to go over before they could build it. First and foremost was getting leather
that looked like a football and then getting the football stitching to look correct

The main body of the case is one piece of leather connected in the front
with the football stitching and then in the back there is an inlay of leather
for the Green Bay name and logos

Here is a closeup of the leather and the football stitching

Here is the bottom of the case so it looks like the stitching goes all the way under the pocket

Here is the side of the case with the very strong handle and the towel ring

Here is the back of the case showing the lid connection and the Green Bay
colors and logo notice still no seam and it has double shoulder straps

Here it shows the lid connection and the shoulder strap connections
all heavy duty to last forever

This is the lid of the case with the Packers logo on it

I wanted one large pocket of the front the same size and shape of the inlay on the back of the case. It has a tray that is removable and held in with velcro. The blue pieces are
dividers that can be placed anywhere in the pocket using velcro on each end.
Of course the NFL pocket markers with the Packer name and the Packer towel

I wanted the lid to look like the old football leather helmets with the ear flaps
so I had them put a twist lock on each side of the lid. Because there is one on
each side it is really locked on. The following pictures show how it works
this is the locked position

Then you pull up the flap to release it

Then you flip the lid open it works great

This is the interior of the case with the JB interior in green of course and
you can see how the lid opens up

The top of the lid has a removable cover so I can put in money cards and keys

This shows how the lid is connected to the case and it will never wear out

This is on the bottom of the case......of course and there is no explanation needed for Packer fans

On each shaft it shows the year he was put into the NFL hall of fame
and the year he was put into the Packer hall of fame both are on each
shaft on opposite sides

Here is where Brett signed it just before it was finished
and there you have it my special case made by John Barton
for my special cue made by Joe Pechauer

As a lifelong Packer fan, that’s spectacular!

Though I admit, Brett Favre is dead to me. 😑

Well done! That is a beautiful parring. Do these go out or are they just for home play?

I love that we have companies in this sport that give us the opportunity to do this. Pool means a lot to the players and some of us like to honor it in this way by tying it in with our other passions and displaying it in a unique way.

Thank you for sharing and thank you to Joe Pechauer and John Barton for making this possible.

I do take them out to play with but it has been quite awhile because of Covid
but I have quite a collection and I take them all out in a special travel case and then
hit with all of them to remind me of how nice these cues are

Thank you. We were very happy that we could do this project for you and honestly these are the types of orders that I get most excited about and interested in. Sometimes they take awhile to get the design down and the construction methods figured out but if we do then something really special is created.

I just want to feel love in my life like you love the Packers! (actually I have that so I understand you dedication)

Thank you again, we are truly honored that you chose us to do this for you.

All of us at JB Cases.

OMG I absolutely HATE the Green Bay Fudgepackers but with that said, to each their own and it really is a nice case! Maybe they could do one for my COWBOYS!

Still, all jokes aside, JB makes a great case and the protection of a cue is a top priority for them.

We sell to the hopelessly optimistic as well :)

Actually, just today we sent out a case designed by a Cowboys fan.

Being a Packer's fan I can appreciate the whole package, normally, sports themed billiards stuff doesn't translate well, this was well done ;)
