This is a case that I had John Barton and his gang build for me
I am a diehard Packer fan and have not missed either being at a game
or watching it on TV since 1957 yes every game started by watching
with my granddad every Sunday....made many special memories
The case is supposed to look like football leather so the pebble look is great
and the football stitching looks great and he got the Green Bay Packer logo
and colors perfect. This case was made to go with my Pechauer cue that was
dedicated to Brett and his career with the Packers and all of the proceeds
went to Breast Cancer as his wife was a survivor. Joe made 25 of them but
mine is the only one with Ivory joint and two extra ld shafts with matching
Crown Jewels and custom joint protectors with a green lizard wrap on it.
There are a lot of details and information on this cue and the records he set
during his career . If you want to see more of this cue let me know and I
will put up some pictures detailing it.
This case took 18 months to get as we were going back and forth on details
and they were overseas at that time. There were lots of drawings and details
to go over before they could build it. First and foremost was getting leather
that looked like a football and then getting the football stitching to look correct
The main body of the case is one piece of leather connected in the front
with the football stitching and then in the back there is an inlay of leather
for the Green Bay name and logos
Here is a closeup of the leather and the football stitching
Here is the bottom of the case so it looks like the stitching goes all the way under the pocket
Here is the side of the case with the very strong handle and the towel ring
Here is the back of the case showing the lid connection and the Green Bay
colors and logo notice still no seam and it has double shoulder straps
Here it shows the lid connection and the shoulder strap connections
all heavy duty to last forever
Please continue to the next page for more pictures
