Okay, so she definitely doesn't play enough on our home table.
Major gripe. BUT...................... She LOVES to watch pool on TV. 'Till the wee hrs. of the morning too. (Exact opposite of the stereotype that says people like to play rather than watch haha) Even watched the Rhea match! lol
She's been to many many Expos in V. Forge, and once in Edison. Also, knows pretty much every Pro player.
Our anniversary is near the end of October. So she says why don't we go to the US Open this year?!! Wtf? I was just planning on doing PPV.
It actually started out with an Open then Steinway combo trip!! Who thinks of this?
She's quite the wife! I held off on the NY trip because of work stuff.
But I just booked room and VIP tix for Virginia baby!
Going Sat night to Wed. (She volunteered to drive home Wed night too )
PPV on Thurs. and Friday. (because of her work schedule)
Hope to see some AZ people down in VA!!
Players list looks really awesome!!:D
Btw will have two VIP seats for sale (good price) for Thurs and the finals on Friday.
Because we had to get VIP for Sun - Fri. PM's anyone??

You're a lucky guy

Have the two of you ever been to the dcc?

Slim

You're a lucky man 9andout !! My wife would not watch a pool match if I put a gun to her head.

but she does like baseball, and will watch it on TV and goes to every single game my son and I go to, Professonal, minor leagues, college, whatever. So, I do have that ;)

She is a keeper!!. My wife is the same way. The good ones are hard to find easy to lose. My grandpa used to always say. So true.

same here, took my wife to one tourney at Hard Times a few years ago. I would need a gun to get her to a second tourney :sorry:

My first wife actually worked behind the counter every night at the first poolroom I owned in Bakersfield. After the babies started coming that all stopped. :)

Gotta make the trip up here to a Turning Stone Classic.
Best pool watching experience in the country.
And the casino/restaurants aren't too shabby either.

Congrats on the Open VIP seats. I'll be watching from the Accu Stats stream.

Watched on the stream. Does look like a great place.

So..... is she happily married?
Haha I think so??

I'm interested in the price of your tickets. Please pm me some information. Thanks.
Will do. I have one potential deal with Silver Cue. Get back to you. Thanks.

Thanks to all for the kind words!! Hey, we get to go to a new restaurant for our anniversary too. Win win.

BJ (that means Before Josh, our son) my wife and I randomly picked cities that hosted the first and second rounds of the NCAA men's basketball tourney, for little 5 day vacays. All my buddies asked how I talked her into that. I didn't, totally her idea!!! We have also been to at least a dozen different MLB stadiums to catch games. Like Efren, I got lucky!! But, like Chicago RJ, no chance of her EVER going to a big pool tourney! I am OK with that too, though, cuz she wouldn't "get" the DCC anyway.

Cool. I'm not saying "do everything with your wife bla bla" but I don't have one guy friend
that would even think of going to this tournament.
Even the ones who play seriously. The Expo was a great example. Two of them played in the Amateur and lost. Then immediately left. WTF? Didn't even watch any pro matches.
Yet there she was sitting sweating all the matches with me. Pretty nice.
