Any Ideas?

Picked this up on a whim because I love the looks of it and the guy said it was one of the best playing cues he had but had no idea what it was and wasn't really into the old oil rubbed look. I am in to that look. :D

take a picture of the cue with the bumper off of it. I dont think that bumper is original.

Whoever uses that kind of acid on their birdseye would be a good guess.

Interesting...Been looking for a cue like this for a long. I will get confirmation...Thanks everybody!

mystery

Looks a lot like a Dave Bollman (Bowman - I can't remember the spelling) from Virginia Beach. I refinished one of his cues that came in with this type of finish. He has since passed away. He made a great hitting cue. Anyways - it looks like his work.

Hicks Stick? - Jeff stamped a lot of his with HS but not all. He did use a hand rub finish on many of his simpler cues.

Looks like a Bert Schrager to me. 3/8-10 hand ground pin, satin finish.

Many differences......

My money is on Schrager!

It's not an ED PREWITT. I asked Ed the moment I saw this for sale on Facebook. Ed said it's not his. But it was my guess.

interesting...I bid on it becasue it has some much I like in a sneaky....satin finish, old brown phenolic, big pin, and some birdseye..enough to get me excited about cues again....My first thoughts were Schrager,Prewitt or Padgitt...just has that West Coast look, lol. Love the cue but 200 was my cut off, lol.
