I have a A. E. Schmidt table that I'am also working on, looks very much like the table you show. I think mine was made in 1897 by the numbers on the table and what a old time Schmidt employee told me. But I dont have the model name. My table also looks alot like a 1910 Brunswick Wellington. I live in St.lous where I got my table from so I pretty sure mine is a Schmidt table. Is that on located in Mo. area, That may give you a idea where the table was made. A lot of the pool table companys back then taged other tables with there name plates, and had other makers make tablefor them, so you never know who really made the table.

Once you get all the crap removed from the top you may get a better idea of what it is.
Make sure you find 6 rails, the pockets and check everything for damage, especially rotted wood.
While it may be a good find it might be a nightmare to restore.

If your looking for a table to resell,I'd step away from this one. If your looking for something to use in your home,it will play pretty good. It does look like it needs a lot of work though,be careful what you pay for it.

Well i will be picking this table up for free, also i would have took alot better pictures but im in alaska and the table is in oregon. I am going to have it put in storage till i get home. im not sure on exact costs but i know i can get a good price on everything i need from my local pool hall as i have been a regular there for years. im thinking it will only be about 500 for everything that i will end up needing give or take a couple hundred.

Update

Well i am having this table picked up got a nice image sent to my cell phone that put all doubts atleast in my mind to rest about the maker. from what my friend picking it up is telling me its in decent shape, It will need new rubber felt and maybe pockets, but the wood is good and slate seems good. Im very happy with this find.

Im hopefully going to be able to do all the labor myself, If not, i know i can get some help from the guys at my local hall who do all the moving and servicing in my area for a case of beer and a few packs of smokes.

what kind of cushions did you go with? how do you like them? Same for your cloth. Thank you for the estimate on how much ill end up spending. still excited about picking it up for free :) oh... damn i need to buy pockets too....

Pockets are expensive!
