Golden Cue - this was the name of place that was in NYC that closed down. Lots of action and heavy weight players.

golden cue is no good.. there is a pool hall with that name in hazelton pa.. which is not very far away.. maybe an hour or two..

I kinda like the sound of - CUETOPIA.... not sure if it would be a great pool hall name.. it just flows nice of the tongue...

There still is a golden cue, ALbany, NY--was around before the one in NYC and actually has one of the heated billiard tables from the Golden Cue NYC.
Deep Pockets I like too.

I like the names:
The Spot
Post it Up Billiard Lounge
Stixx
The Green Room (if you have green cloth)
Back Alley Billiards
NoMansLand

BTW, what kind of cloth will be used--760 or 860. I started a thread:

If ya'll can reply and give me your opinions. We had a debate on Wed night at the room and want to go back with some feedback.

Tight Pocket Billiards

Tight Pocket Billiards

or

The Break Room --if you are going to have alcohol

Of those on the list... The Break Room.

FWIW, Tight Pockets Billiards has a negative connotation to it... you know, like you're cheap... not willing to spend money to make money. Again, FWIW.

To be honest... I like "Ricochets" and "Sharkeys" the best. I also like "Rack & Roll Billiards".

And I guess "Chalkies" has already been used, but it sure is a dang fine name...

Tight Pocket Billiards

Well Everybody,
We Greatly Appreciate All The Input, But We Just Picked "tight Pocket Billiards" We Had To Choose Today, We Take Over Operations Tomorrow. We Thought We Had Til The 15th, But That Didn't Happen.

Thanks Again.
