Wow that looks awesome. With all that green in that cue it should be named THE COLOR OF MONEY.....

Hate all of the green collars but love the forearm and buttsleeve. The green ruins
it for me but the work is fantastic.

Indeed a beautiful cue, congrats to you!

I am curious though, why would that many cue makers turn down this design? I see the complexity of the cue but at the same time i can think of quite a few makers who would make this cue?
With that said i mean no disrespect to Mr Owen, this cue is exceptional and well executed for sure.

Congrats again to Mr Owen and Motozono-san on this great cue!

At first, the list of makers to depend on might have a problem.
Because the maker which famous in Japan is a really major maker or semi-product maker.
Japanese loves famous brands(for evade a risk). and I'm japanese :D

Some makers said to me, "Only customization of the degree to change the material in the design template is possible."
Another makers said, "I reject to make the ring which inlay MOP over malachite."
Otherwise, the reason was simple. They showed huge price!!

Because the cue maker like him a few making high quality cue in a year does not circulate in Japan, Bob is not famous in Japan.
But I should have depended on him from a beginning. He heard my voice really seriously.

Indeed a beautiful cue, congrats to you!

Cue looks better in person.

Naoki,

What a great design. My pictures don't show the detail in the malachite rings or the sparkle of the abalone. Some cues just look better when you are holding them in your hand. It has been a pleasure building this cue for you.

Have fun playing with the cue!

Beautiful Cue!!

I think Bob is not known well in Japan but I love his cue and his work!!
Congrats Motozono-san!!!
