you can get any information about any members stats youwant on their website.
i looked up the number 1 ranked player in napa and saw a name many people on this forum are familiar with, actually 2. jason kirkwood and alex olinger. jasonis ranked numder 1 in both 8 and 9 ball and alex is ranked number 2 in 9 ball.
it also showed their win %. nunber of break an runs, 8 on break etc etc.
on apa site you can only look up stats for people on your team. you cannot look up stats for any other members, that sucks.not sure how bcapl website is , i never look since i am not a member but i do play a money league using the bcapl format.
That's really cool. I wish I could look up more stats of people on the APA site. In our area, we can look at anybody playing under our LO. It comes in handy when I want to see when my friends are playing at the bar or who their opponents are.
NAPA has a terrific handicap system, compared to that of the APA. It's a great pool league.
The handicap is a lot tougher, and you can't cheat like you can in the APA because they don't count defensive shots and safeties, which rarely ever get marked correctly to begin with.
They have a terrific website too which always gets updated on time. The website has a million different stats that they keep for every player.
It's a terrific pool league, and is definitely going to give the APA a run for its money pretty soon once it gets a little bigger.
I think. NAPA is definitely the best league going. They are doing a lot of things right. I'm not a fan of any handicapping but their system is very good.

you are not kidding about the number of different stats they display on the website.
from where you rank localy to where you rank nationaly. your win % each season. yoer best record of matches won in a row , your worse record on matches lost in a row. win % against men, win % against women. and on and on and on.
the best part about that is you can see every stat for every napa member nationwide.
the widest range of handicaps i have ever seen. we have every body from a 15 to a 120 handicap. the scorekeeping is easy as heck.
and regarding the level of players. napa has the largest majority of strong players vs any other league in our area.
It's far from perfect though. I was talking to a guy that is in it tonight. He is a B- player. Because they put him up against a guy that just can't play for the last two weeks, he won every game and got jumped up quite a bit. This week, he had to spot an A player!! Needless to say, he's not too thrilled with it. He did state that they told him you have to be in it for about two years before your real handicapp is about right.
