The truth of the matter is I don't care who uses CTE/Pro One or who doesn't. It really doesn't bother me at all.

If a person doesn't want to use CTE/Pro One, I'm not going to call them a "dolt" for not using it.

If a person has difficulty in trying to use CTE/Pro One, I'm not going to call them an "idiot"/

If someone uses some peculiar aiming system that most would never use, I would never ridicule them by saying they are the tin foil hat crew.

I truly believe in every person to seek out their own answers in life and in pool. It is up to each person to work out their own salvation.

I am approached all of the time about CTE/Pro One and I'm happy to contribute where I can. The forums aren't the best place to discuss CTE/Pro One because as most of you can see, the visual perspectives can be easily misunderstood.

The fact is you can aim exceptionally well without using CTE/Pro One IF you have those other visual abilities and the time to hit a million balls. In fact, SOME PEOPLE can aim exceptionally well in a short period of time using something other than CTE/Pro One.

Me, I don't care who uses it or who doesn't. I do care about the NAYSAYERS who CONTINUE to ridicule those with opposing views.

First, I do not shove anything down anyone's throat except for those who deserve it. The Naysayers deserve every bit of crow I can shove down their throat. The Naysayers are a few people who condemned Hal Houle, Stan Shuffett, The CTE System and the ACCURATE AIMING SYSTEM CTE/PRO ONE and every person who ever tried to use CTE or CTE/Pro One.

My CTE/Pro One posts are aimed at the NAYSAYERS and they are just a few people. They know who they are. I don't believe you are one of those, nor are most people on this forum.

For me, I really don't care who uses CTE/Pro One. I do care about fair play.

If it is OK for the NAYSAYERS to ridicule these above mentioned people ad nauseum for YEARS, then I will give them just a little of what they have been giving others. The Naysayers are a few but "vocal" group who can't wait to pounce on anyone who says anything positive about CTE/Pro One.

I'm just sick and tired of standing by and seeing good and decent people ridiculed by a few people on this forum. That's the summary of how I feel. Just so you know.....


FOR YEARS, NO ONE SPOKE UP TO SCOLD THESE NAYSAYERS FOR THEIR MEAN-SPIRITED COMMENTS ABOUT GOOD AND DECENT PEOPLE, trying to make the pool world a better place (INCLUDING THIS FORUM). I'm tired of it and I'm not going to take it anymore.

Thank you for the response. I try to be as reasonable as I can, although I will admit that sometimes I may fall short (I was taught a man admits that he is wrong, because that is taking responsibility for onesself).

My main issues have come from the endless touting of CTE by a few people. I can accept that certain things work for certain people. I can accept that professional instruction is beneficial. I just don't like the relentless plugging in what felt like every other thread.

I know that I don't have to read them. But, if I didn't read threads, I may as well just be on here for the NPR forum. :sorry:

Honestly, I see both sides as having fallen somewhat short on proving/disproving their points. The Yays won't say anything that contradicts their points(maybe because they can't think of anything, maybe because they refuse to acknowledge) and the Nays continue to question the methods. I think this goes back to the fact that some will benefit and some won't. It would be like arguing who is the better instructor, what is the better tip, which stick hits best, etc etc, including 'what is the best way to aim'.

If any one system were the nuts, everybody would be all over it. Instead, different ones work better for different people.

Time for lunch.. and no, it's not crow. :p

im not sure if you mean me here? All i am doing is informing the people that keep giving uninformed opinions/information and pass them on as facts here. Just look at my posting history on this topic and you see where i stand.

Take a closer look at the highlighted part and see if you can figure out what I'm saying. It isn't a foreign language.

I'm obviously saying CTE isn't only half-ball hits, because if it was then every CTE shot would be a 30-degree cut.

I think the people that cringe are the ones reading your posts about a subject you know little to nothing about.

Your play at twisting facts and suggesting that everyone just imagined you were saying these things is laughable at best.

av84fun: Secondly, PJ does not understand the CTE aiming method and INSISTS that it always produces a half ball hit....which is utterly incorrect.

Just because they didn't include your quotes doesn't mean you weren't saying it. My ability to read allows me to see what "av84fun" believes you said.

How come all these dolts were able to figure out how to use the system from stans dvd, but yet you were incapable of it, please explain this Pj? and if you want to discuss cte/pro1, discuss it with me PJ ....i didnt think so :thumbup:
