The NCS 14.1 National Championship is starting to shape up to be a great tournament July 31-August 2, 2009 at Comet in Parsippany, NJ! :)

Players meeting friday evening, tournament starts saturday morning.

Tom Walter...

...is a fine player, but he cannot win that event. There has never been a comb-over champion in the history of the cue games. GF

I'm sure that Mr. Fels comment about Tom Walters hair was meant in jest but it seemed to come out of nowhere. Congratulations to Tom for winning a qualifier, just one of many. Tom is a tough competitor who gives not one inch. He has been a top player in NYC for 5 decades and a compliment with the joke would have been more palatable.

Looking for a few good rooms

We are always looking for rooms who are interested in hosting an NCS qualifier. Could use help as I'm one little gal with a lot of energy most of the time, but honesly, could use help since I'm trying to schedule 14.1, 9 and 10 ball all at the same time. Please email or call me. It only is a $100 sanction fee to host an NCS qualifier...I will send more details to those interested.

NCS 14.1 Championship at Comet Billiards

Just to let everyone know - Accu-Stats will be presenting the action Live from the Accu-Stats Arena at Comet Billards for the NCS 14.1 Championship.

The stream will be provided FREE on Ustream on both Saturday Aug. 1st and Sunday Aug. 2nd.

Both days matches will begin at 11:00 am EDT.

Join us on Friday night after the players' meeting for the Friday Night Race to 1 10-Ball Game Show and 10-Ball Jackpots. Starts at 8:00 pm EDT.

Holly has promised that the players' meeting will be over in time for many of the participants to join us for the Game Show.

Should be a lot of fun. The Jackpot at 9:30 should be worth around $600.00 a ball and the 11:00 Jackpot should fetch around $500.00 a ball.

Not too shabby for a $5.00 ticket. Pat's new "Consolation Prize Rule" makes it ALMOST impossible to not walk away with some money if your lucky ticket gets drawn.

Two Viewer Drawings are also on tap for Free Accu-Stats produced DVD's.
